This was created for the 2004 Preakness. I had done 2002 and 2003. I was paid for the painting in those two years. I did not receive a dime for the hundreds of thousands of reproductions done in either of those two years. In 2004, I asked for some compensation for all the additional copies they would use. They said no. I took my painting and left, never to do a painting for them again.
